So the newest sequel of the 2020 release '365 Days' is out, titled '365 Days: This Day', and it's fair to say we are all still processing the story. But is there one? The previous sequel glorified rape and sexual coercion that made it nearly unwatchable but viewers still tuned in, and in large numbers, for the steamy scenes. The sequel was on many Netflix watchers' 'most-awaited' lists as the movie was expected to offer more than just erotic scenes like it's predecessor.

There are tons of revelations and twists in the movie but fans have claimed that there is even less of a plot in this one. "365 days: this day, you disappointed me. It was literally 90% sex scenes w/ 10% plot. and idek what that 10% was?" wrote one former fan of the franchise. "Before it becomes a meme, a fantasy, an imitation, a talk about all day, and spoilers on tik tok. 365 days: This Day was; bad story line, bad acting, draggy and a total cliché, but not complaining about Torricelli," added another.

The story kicks off with Laura and Massimo getting married and having a honeymoon. Everything goes south when Laura thinks Massimo cheated on her and she runs away with a handsome gardener to cope with being jilted. What follows after is a series of fights, betrayals, and surprises. Although the story may sound enticing, it's fair to say that it is the excess of erotic scenes that hold the movie together than the threadbare plot itself. This has left fans disheartened.

One unsatisfied fan remarked, "365 days: this day wtf was that ending and where was the plot". Another added "You mean to tell me I waited years for 365 days this day to come out for this...like come on it could have been so much better". One fan ended up giving a quick guide tour for those of you that are yet to watch the love spree stating, "Guide before watching 365 Days: This Day: If u want pure sex watch the first 51 minutes of the movie. If u want plot, fast forward to watch the 20 minutes left towards the end. The rest is bullshit. You're welcome!"

Although there were tons of complaints about the movie lacking a plot, a few fans couldn't stop raving about the chemistry between Laura and Massimo. One viewer claimed, "I don't know what to say about 365 days: this day but Lord have mercy on that power walk scene," while another remarked, "why tf did 365 days this day have to end like that, the movie got me horny and crying at the same time".

The movie is most definitely raising eyebrows with its whimsical foreplay and sophisticated erotism. The only concern that its loyal fanbase has is that they wanted a movie that is more story-based — for the creators to add an essence other than just erotica to make it worth their while. Some of them are hoping the next sequel will have something more to offer.
