CREATION, SWANN COUNTY: Netflix's newest action thriller film, 'Trigger Warning,' plunges viewers into a world of heart-pounding action and a captivating plotline.

The film, directed by Mouly Surya, tells the story of Parker (Jessica Alba), a highly accomplished Special Forces commando who returns to her hometown after her father, Harry's (Alejandro De Hoyos) unexpected and unexplained death.

The official reason for his death is an accidental cave-in, but Parker, with her military experience and acute senses, is skeptical. She starts to suspect foul play and embarks on a mission to learn the truth about her father's death.

Parker dives further into the inquiry and learns that her father's murder may be tied to Senator Ezekiel Swann (Anthony Michael Hall), a strong and corrupt figure who works with impunity, utilizing his position and connections to keep control.

Parker's investigation finds a labyrinth of deception and corruption that reaches the highest levels of local authority, including not just the senator but also his sons, the local sheriff and her former lover, Jesse (Mark Webber), and the hot-tempered Elvis (Jake Weary).

Parker decides to get retribution after finding out that her father was killed by none other than her ex-lover, Jesse and to do so she collects weapons and ammunition from the townsfolk.

While hiding on a higher level to strike the terrorist, she is surprised to see Spider (Tone Bell) there. The guy is taken hostage by terrorists, and to free him, Parker blows up a truck full of weapons, attracting the attention of the terrorists and soon gets assaulted by one of them, but easily overpowers him.

The following scene shows Elvis being tormented by Ghost (Kaiwi Lyman), who is angered by the delivery truck explosion and needs a replacement as quickly as possible. Parker overhears their chat and chooses to remain silent for the time being, since her primary focus is on finding Spider.

She later sees Spider being tortured and jumps in to defend her companion. Both stumble into a room full of weapons and pull out a small rocket launcher, but are soon discovered by the terrorists but Spider shoots the rocket launcher to defend themselves.

Smoke enveloped the area, making visibility difficult. Parker summons Spider but is ambushed by Elvis, and the two engage in a hand-to-hand fight. Parker successfully kills him after a fierce struggle.

She soon has another surprise when locals arrive to assist her, but she continues to look for Spider, whom she finds beneath the wreckage. She rescues him with the assistance of the town's residents.

Soon after passing through the tunnel, they arrive at an army base where Parker orders the others to leave while she takes care of Jesse.

She pretends to be injured, attracting the attention of the army men and also Jesse, who is hiding to save himself.

Parker requests that the soldier bring a doctor, and she begins searching for Jesse herself.

Jesse, on the other hand, learns that army men have uncovered the missing container of weapons, which makes him uneasy, and he tries to flee, only to be apprehended by Parker.

Parker gets into a battle with Jesse and laments him for murdering her father, but Jesse abruptly pulls out a grenade, intending to blow himself up. Parker attempts to lessen the tension, but Jesse pushes her before telling her that he should have left the town, just like her, and blasts the grenade, killing himself.

Four weeks after the occurrences, Parker and Spider are seen at a gas station, where Spider informs Parker that he has recovered the CCTV tape of her father's death, but Parker refuses to view it and instead watches the videos her father had saved of her on his computer.

It is also revealed later that Parker is no longer selling her family pub, which will now be managed by Mike (Gabriel Basso). The film closes with both Parker and Spider driving away from Creation.
