LONDON, ENGLAND: In Episode 5 of 'My Lady Jane', the tension reaches new heights as Lady Jane Grey (Emily Bader) takes drastic measures to gather proof against Lord Seymour (Dominic Cooper) and Princess Mary (Kate O'Flynn). 

In Episode 4 of 'My Lady Jane', Jane realizes that Lord Seymour and Princess Mary were involved in poisoning King Edward VI (Jordan Peters) and causing his death. This revelation shocks Jane to her core, setting a stage for dramatic confrontation in Episode 5.

Jane's discovery and subsequent actions create a ripple effect, pushing the narrative forward in significant ways. There's a lot to discover in Episode 5. So, Let's jump in!

In 'My Lady Jane' Episode 4, Princess Mary attempts to kill Jane by strangling her. As Episode 5 begins, viewers witness that Jane is not dead but unconscious. The attempted murder only strengthens her resolve to uncover the truth behind Edward VI's death and bring the culprits to justice.

However, viewers witness that Edward VI is actually alive somewhere, unbeknownst to anyone else. This revelation adds a dramatic twist to the unfolding events.

As the episode unfolds, in a dramatic turn of events, Susanna (Máiréad Tyers) accuses Jane of ordering an attack on Ethians. Jane vehemently denies the accusation, insisting on her innocence and vowing to prove it. Susanna also reveals that there is no cure for Ethians who cannot control their shapeshifting transformation.

Jane is saddened by the revelation because she has always wanted a cure for her husband, Lord Guildford Dudley (Edward Bluemel), who cannot shapeshift like others and gets stuck in one form for a long time.

However, Lady Frances Grey (Anna Chancellor) forces Jane to divorce Lord Guildford because she knows the truth that he is an Ethian who can shapeshift into a horse.

Jane had always wanted a divorce, but when her mother insists on it, she refuses and immediately goes to Lord Guildford, telling him she does not want a divorce. Their mutual understanding and emotional honesty lead to a passionate reconciliation. They share a passionate kiss and make love. 

As the episode unfolds, Jane shares her vision with Lord Guildford, expressing her desire to bridge the divide between Ethians and humans. Her idea is to invite all her Ethian friends to a grand party, aiming to foster understanding, acceptance, and unity among all attendees.

Jane also considers the possibility that Princess Mary may try to kill her again. To safeguard herself, she plans to have her Ethian friends present at the party as witnesses.

At the party, all her Ethian friends come, and Jane makes a speech calling for an end to divisions between humans and Ethians. However, other kings and queens do not look happy about her message.

Later on, Jane tells Lord Guildford that there's no cure for his condition, and they begin to drift apart. Despite her efforts, Jane cannot find Lord Guildford anywhere, and their relationship seems to be faltering.

However, viewers see that someone approaches Lord Guildford and informs him that there is, in fact, a cure.

As the episode progresses, Jane's determination to seek justice for Edward VI's death intensifies, leading her to make the bold decision to arrest both Lord Seymour and Princess Mary.

As Jane arrives to arrest them, she is met with an empty room. Lord Seymour and Princess Mary have already left, setting the stage for a tense and dramatic pursuit.

In the last scene, viewers see Lord Seymour and Princess Mary riding away, smiling triumphantly as they make their escape.
