'Agents of Mystery' Episode 6, titled 'The Deep Sea Mystery Part 3', continues the captivating case of the Midas submarine. As the team investigates, they uncover a series of clues that lead them to unexpected revelations about the submarine's mission and the secrets it holds.
The agents have a mission to search for the Midas submarine, where the bio-signals of five crew members disappeared, except for one erratic signal.

Agents discover Ahn Joo-hyung's secret in Episode 6
The agents - John Park, Lee Yong-jin, Lee Eun-ji, Kim Do-hoon, Lee Hye-ri, and Karina - discover that the 5 crew members were researching organism UML 01, but it entered Ahn Joo-hyung's body through his airway, merging with him to form a single organism.
As a result, Ahn Joo-hyung transformed into a monstrous entity, driven by the instincts and characteristics of UML 01. This horrifying fusion has led to a series of violent incidents, with Ahn Joo-hyung, now a monster, responsible for the deaths of other members.
The team was initially researching deep-sea creatures, but their leader, Jang Man-gyeong, had a hidden agenda. He was attempting to create a living weapon for Star & Stone, a powerful corporation. His experiments involved manipulating the genetic material of these creatures. However, things went awry when UML 01 entered Ahn Joo-hyung's body.
As the episode progresses further, the agents discover a recording in which they see the crew members discussing the project. In the footage, the crew reveals critical details about their mission to research deep-sea creatures. They also expose their leader, Jang Man-gyeong's hidden agenda of creating a living weapon for Star & Stone.
The agents hear Jang Man-gyeong in the recording saying he wants a cigarette. Even though he doesn't smoke, he was specifically looking for a cigarette. This peculiar request hints at a hidden motive or a coded message.
Lee Eun-ji suggests that there must be something significant in the packet. In the video, the agents learn about Jang Man-gyeong's hidden safe, prompting them to quickly search for clues. They realize that the safe could contain a packet of cigarette. With time running out and the threat escalating, the agents race against the clock to locate the hidden safe and uncover the truth before it's too late.
What happened to Midas submarine?
As the episode unfolds, the agents eventually find the dead body of Jang Man-gyeong in his secret room. His body is surrounded by evidence that suggests he was killed by the monster.
They could not find cigarettes in his room, leading them to quickly realize that Sim Hye-sung must have hidden them. When they arrive at his room, they find that they need a card and a key to open it.
The agents quickly go to Sim Hye-sung's dead body and retrieve the keys. In the cigarette pack, they find a card that appears to be a keycard to open Jang Man-gyeong's cupboard.
They quickly open the cupboard and retrieve the pack. Inside the pack, they find an envelope containing a document that sheds light on the contract.
The contract reveals that if the project is successful, Jang Man-gyeong would receive 12 billion dollars. This revelation sheds light on Jang Man-gyeong's motives and the extent of his involvement in the project.
The agents then approach the emergency door, but the monster suddenly comes out to attack them. They quickly close the emergency door to protect themselves. Inside the room, they find the hard drives and Jang Man-gyeong's mail. However, to access the contents, they need to crack a password.
They crack the code through cryptogram and discover that the password is world. The email reveals that the living weapon project has been terminated, and within 10 minutes of opening the email, the project will be destroyed.
Through the email, they also discover that the monster is afraid of CO2. This revelation provides a crucial advantage, as it gives the agents a way to defend themselves against the monster.
They use a fire extinguisher to attack the monster and quickly find their way out of the submarine. In the last scene, the Midas submarine explodes due to the torpedo, causing a massive and devastating blast.
This suggests that the monster may have been caught in the blast and destroyed along with the submarine.
