'Just what America needs, another Watters'

Watters and his wife Emma received an outpouring of love and congratulations from their followers after announcing the birth of their baby girl on Instagram. One user wrote, "Congratulations my beauty! God Bless!" while another said, "Congratulations 🎈🎊 What a gorgeous baby girl and beautiful family!!" However, not everyone focused solely on the happy news, as one user commented on the traditional gender roles seen in the pictures, writing, "Why do the men always look like they went through labor & the mother looks gorgeous🤔?"

Another user made a political comment, writing, "Just what America needs, another Watters. God bless your family, Jesse. She’s a keeper that one with her weight in diamonds." Despite the differing opinions, the overwhelming sentiment was one of happiness for the new parents. "She is absolutely beautiful," said one user. Another playfully warned Jesse, "Lmfao..you are toast Watters! She will have you wrapped around her tiny finger by sunset! Love y'all." While a third user wrote, "There is nothing like a little girl! She will be your best friend for life 🌸."

Watters shares pregnancy news

Watters shared the news of his wife Emma's pregnancy on-air in December, exclaiming, "So, we're having a girl and she's five months along which I think is halfway through. And she looks fantastic, you can't even tell she's pregnant." He later confirmed on 'The Five' that his wife was currently five months pregnant and that they were expecting their child in April 2023. Co-host Greg Gutfeld couldn't resist making a joke, asking why the couple wouldn't let their child decide their own gender.

In addition to sharing the happy news, Watters also expressed a change of heart when it comes to paternity leave, admitting that he used to mock it but now wishes he could take time off. "I used to mock people for taking paternity, I used to think it was a big ruse, but now, ya know, I wish I could take six weeks," he said.
