Spoilers for ‘Your Honor’ Episode 5

Based on the Israeli series 'Kvodo' created by Ron Ninio and Shlomo Mashiach, ‘Your Honor’ stars Bryan Cranston as Michael Desiato, a respected judge who is hellbent on saving his teen son Adam (Hunter Doohan), after he gets embroiled in a hit-and-run that leads to a high-stakes game of lies, deceit and impossible choices.

The fourth episode began with a rude shock... Kofi Jones (Lamar Johnson) who took the fall for Adam's crime was killed. Adam foolishly mentioned the cop Nancy Costello (Amy Landecker) to his grandma Elizabeth (Margo Martindale) and she invited her to dinner. Coincidentally, Michael and Lee Delamare (Carmen Ejogo) also hopped in and it soon turned into quite a chaotic get-together. Not one to let it go, Elizabeth forced Lee to discuss the case she was working on and their dog Django pulled out the bloody rag.

While Michael was clever enough to cover it up, the blood caught Nancy's eyes. Will that revelation have major repercussions?

‘Your Honor’ Episode 5 Predictions

Titled ‘Part Five’, the summary of the new episode reads, “Michael attempts to return to business as usual until he discovers that someone is blackmailing him; Jimmy Baxter (Michael Stuhlbarg) and Gina Baxter (Hope Davis) remain committed to avenging their son's death.” In a scene from the 49-second trailer for the next episode, Gina holds Jimmy close and tells him, “People say revenge doesn't help. Do I feel better? Absolutely.”

In another crucial snippet, Lee goes down to the Black neighborhood and asks Kofi's young brother Eugene Jones (Benjamin Flores Jr), “I wanna know what happened to Kofi.” Big Mo (Andrene Ward-Hammond) makes an appearance and Fia Baxter (Lilli Kay) has a chance encounter with Adam. In another glimpse of the episode, Michael holds a baseball bat. Who is he trying to protect himself against?

Will Jimmy and Gina Baxter soon find out the truth? Who is blackmailing Michael? These questions swirl in your mind after watching the mind-boggling promo.

‘Your Honor’ Episode 5 Spoilers

The biggest worry now seems to be: Who really is the blackmailer. One Reddit fan posted, “So who do people think the blackmailer is? My guess: someone in the black SUV that followed Adam and sped away after the accident ... or Gas Station Guy.” Another said, “Gas station guy. It’s the same voice on the phone and the guy from the gas station. On the video, he sent to Michael you can see the hood of the Camry.” A third wrote, “I think it's gas station guy, too. He was really cool about the whole thing, and his voice sounded the same as the voice on the phone to me as well.”

A fourth added, “Oh snap. Didn’t notice that. That would make sense. You wouldn’t suspect him to do it but maybe he did some research after reading the news and tracked Michael down and decided to blackmail him. He did get lied to after all.” And another fan posted, “I really hope there's some kind of twist about who the gas station guy is. Otherwise, it just seems like a weird coincidence that yet another person these characters bump into is an ethicless opportunist.”

Another fan wrote, “At this halfway point, I was definitely hoping for more twists that were unexpected. Not gas station guy blackmailing Michael. If they get found out because of Adam's photos or returns to the crime scene, I'll be really annoyed. I'm also surprised that it took them this long to realize that the hit-and-run happened the day before the car was stolen. I guess we can put it down to people having a lack of interest in absolving a Black suspect? It still seems odd that literally, nobody realized.”
