‘Young Sheldon' Season 3: Elder brother Georgie does a candy act to get to Veronica's heart

Fans are loving the budding romance between Georgie Cooper and Veronica.

Georgie Cooper (Montana Jordan) is certainly stealing the show on season 3 of ‘Young Sheldon.' In the earlier episode, we saw the elder Cooper brother flaunt his entrepreneur side by successfully managing to sell snow-globes and making some good profits. Now, in episode 3, which aired on October 10, we saw the “lover-boy” side of Georgie, as he tried pursuing his ladylove, Veronica (Isabel May).

In previous seasons, we have seen Georgie relentlessly pursuing her but, unfortunately, his feelings weren’t reciprocated by Veronica. Finally, we see the Cooper boy making headway in getting to Veronica’s heart with one of the sweetest gestures. In the recently aired episode, we see Georgie getting into the candy business. He starts selling candies at half-price in the school and ends up making great profits. He decides to splurge that money on Veronica. He goes to a jewelry store and picks up a beautiful necklace and gifts it to her.
 
Veronica isn’t impressed with Georgie’s gesture when she notices that the necklace, he got for her cost him over $100, she returns it to him saying she can’t accept such expensive gifts. A puzzled Georgie who got his gifting idea from Madonna’s ‘material girl’ can’t figure out what he did wrong. Instead of giving up, he again leaves a gift for Veronica with a note asking her not to worry about the cost of the new gift as it just cost him 10 cents. A curious Veronica opens the gift box to see what he got for her with just 10 cents and is pleasantly surprised to see a cute candy necklace. Georgie catches her smiling on seeing his gift and tells her she can either wear it or eat it.

We couldn’t stop fawning over this cute puppy-love. Fans too took to social media to express how much they’re enjoying the budding romance between their two favorite characters. A fan tweeted, “AWWW Georgie got Veronica a candy necklace... he is a romantic!!! AWWW!! @JordanMontana7 @ImIsabelMay @YoungSheldon #YoungSheldon”. Another fan who couldn’t get enough of this cute couple wrote, “Georgie gave Veronica candy necklace instead of the real expensive necklace. #relationshipgoals #YoungSheldon”. “So Georgie Cooper @MontanaJordan7 is in into the candy business impressing Veronica keep it up bro #YoungSheldon”, expressed a fan. Few fans are already picturing the two together in the future. A fan wrote, “Pls tell me Georgie and Veronica get married in the future #YoungSheldon”.
