The 21-year-old mother, identified only as Liu, feared that her parents would get to know about the baby and wanted to take revenge on her ex-boyfriend
A young mother allegedly drowned her seven-day-old baby boy before dumping his body in the bushes where he was eaten by maggots.
According to Apple Daily, an investigation into the 21-year-old mother's house at Miaoli County, West Taiwan, led to the discovery of the baby's remains in a red plastic bag hidden in the bushes outside the residence. Authorities said the boy's body was almost entirely eaten by maggots, and that only a foot and a few organs were available for conducting DNA tests, stated a Mirror report.
