"...People like us don't change."

'Fear and Loathing in Beverly Hills' deals with Joe trying to escape the town once again, as Delilah figures out Joe's masked personality.  Although he is planning to let her go, just like the way he let Will go, she needs to prove it to him that she can be trusted.

Now that the cat is out of the bag, Joe ends up losing Love Quinn because she is incredibly hurt by his lies and deceit. Meanwhile, Forty is trying to write a script for a movie based on Beck's life and he is keeping Joe "hostage" in order to accomplish it. Forty is such a twisted character that he even ruins a marriage by making a random bride kiss him, in front of her husband for money. Not just that, he also spikes Joe's drink with LSD to make him stay and finish the script. He's a wierd kind of a sadist that way.

Instead of leaving for good as Joe had planned, he ends up going on an LSD trip. With Joe booming on the drug, he begins to see things with absolutely filterless clarity. It is already established by now that Joe is nothing short of a sociopath who is "trying to do the right thing".

With the effects of LSD kicking in, the fine line between his real sociopathic self and the superficial self gets blurred. While trying to rewrite the script from Beck's perspective, Forty unknowingly scratches Joe's painful memory of the time he had Beck locked down in the storage room.

With history repeating itself, Joe loses his calm and the fact that he's tripping higher than the Alps, he strangles Forty, almost killing him. Joe's psychotic side is bubbling on the surface ready to have an outburst any second. In episode 5, we find out that the Quinns had an au pair Sofia, who was insanely close to Forty. We learn about his dark side when he tells Joe about killing her out of obsession.

Vibing in a zone like that may have not been in favor of Joe as at one point in time, we also see him cleaning off blood from his hands, but the trick here is for you to find out if it was real or was he hallucinating. The silver lining to all this is when Love forgives Joe as she loves him too much to let go. He is more than delighted as they decide to start a life together from scratch.

Joe hallucinates his mother telling him that he's never going to have a happy ending to his love story. Does this mean that Joe's story with Love is just going to be super upsetting too?

Joe goes back to the storage locker and finds a bloody body of Delilah with her throat slit! Joe could not have killed her because he wanted to eventually let her go. But with LSD in him and the memories of Beck still fresh, in a fit of rage and a lot of haze, Joe may have actually killed Delilah.

Catch the premiere of 'YOU' Season 2 only on Netflix on December 26.
