The Hallmark Channel made headlines when it announced that they were pulling down ads and commercials that featured same-sex couples. The ads, which were from an online wedding company called Zola, showed same-sex couples celebrating marriages.

Pornographic video website YouPorn has now offered to host Zola's commercial on their homepage and share it with their 20 million users given the treatment the ad received from Hallmark.

The Vice President of the company, Charlie Hughes, told MEA WorldWide (MEAWW) in a statement that they were very upset to hear that Hallmark had taken down Zola's ad featuring a same-sex couple from its station.

He continued that YouPorn believes that "love is love" and that "our year in retrospect data confirmed that our female users do also. 'Lesbian' was the top searched for term on our platform in 2019."

Hughes went on to say that "we love your company's recognition for same-sex love, YouPorn would like to show its support by showcasing your commercial on our homepage for all our 20 million daily visitors to see."

The letter finished with "So Zola, do you take YouPorn to have and to host your wedding commercial on our site for all to see? Please say 'I do'."

We had previously reported that the Hallmark Channel has reversed its decision to pull ads and commercials that feature same-sex couples and apologized for having them removed in the first place.

The Hallmark President and CEO Mike Perry shared that the company had made the "wrong decision" and wants to re-instate the ad.

According to a report by CNN, Perry shared, "The Crown Media team has been agonizing over this decision as we've seen the hurt it has unintentionally caused." Said simply, they believe this was the wrong decision.

"Our mission is rooted in helping all people connect, celebrate traditions, and be inspired to capture meaningful moments in their lives. Anything that detracts for this purpose is not who we are. As the CEO of Hallmark, I am sorry for the hurt and disappointment this has caused," he added.
