Yellowstone’ is filled with unforgettable characters. However, there’s no doubt that Beth Dutton is one of the fiercest characters on the Paramount show and probably on TV as well. During Season 4, Beth showed why she is the most important member of the Dutton Family and will do anything to keep his father and their land safe from anyone. Trust me, you don’t want to be in the bad books of Beth and if you are, then God bless you.

With Season 5 set to come in November 2022, there’s one character who would be thinking about not coming near John Dutton and her name is Summer Higgins (Piper Perabo). We all saw John mortified when he heard the conversation between his daughter and Summer. While talking about her equation with Summer, the actress revealed that things are going to get intense for both characters and Beth won’t let her through anything.

Speaking with TV Line, Reilly also made it clear that Beth sees Summer as an “enemy” and has no respect for how she and fellow protesters live their lives. She added, “Beth wants her father to be happy. She just has no respect for this particular woman. She sees Summer as an enemy, someone who has absolutely no respect for their way of life. [She and her fellow protesters] just come in with this fundamental understanding, thinking that [ranchers] all just rednecks.”

The ‘Sherlock’ actress also joked about how easy it will be for her character to “destroy” Summer and we certainly feel that Beth would barely need to move her body in order to tackle Summer. Reilly said, “Beth isn’t going to walk her through it. She’s just going to quietly destroy her. And it’s so easy for Beth to do that. We know it’s so easy for her to do that! That capacity for violence and cruelty that Beth has in her is quite terrifying, actually.”

During the Season 4 finale, Beth told Summer and her group of protestors about Market Equities building things on the land owned by the Duttons. Summer and her friends go there to protest against the corporation, but Beth was nowhere to be seen. She told Summer about it because she knew that as soon as they will start protesting there, police will be called and she will be taken into custody. When Summer was presented inside the court, the judge told her that she will be going behind bars for 14 years. However, John had a conversation with the judge and her prison time was reduced to just 8 months.

It will be interesting to see if Summer will seek revenge when she comes out and even though Summer doesn’t look like a force to be reckoned with, the makers might make her someone who can give a tough time to Beth in the upcoming episodes.

We are surely excited about things to come.

‘Yellowstone’ Season 5 will be premiering exclusively on Paramount on November 13, later this year.
