Are wedding bells going to ring for Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) and Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser) in the season 3 finale of ‘Yellowstone’? Romance has been one of the main attractions this time round and it won't be a surprise if the beloved couple decides to walk down the aisle. Titled ‘The World Is Purple’, the official summary of the episode reads: "John sits down at the negotiating table with former friends and foes; as the battle for the future of the Yellowstone heats up, nothing will ever be the same."

There isn't any hint about Rip and Beth's future but this had been due for a long time now. In Episode 7 ‘The Beating’, Beth asked her father John Dutton (Kevin Costner) to consent to her marrying Rip. It seems like fans of the onscreen couple can finally raise a toast! The rumors first sparked after photos of the finale episode started floating on social media. Not just the wedding, fans are waiting to see a killing spree too as there are way too many loose ends to tie up.

Sharing a snap with John and Beth, one eagle-eyed fan caught a sparkle on her finger and wondered if she was wearing a wedding ring. "That looks like a wedding ring on her finger, yes?" one Reddit fan posted. "Great catch! I see the show starting with a beautiful wedding, we all get teary-eyed, then move on to the double-dealing & killing!" another said. In no time, that thread caught many more eyeballs and people couldn't stop speculating what was going to happen in the last episode.

"I hope so but as someone said here, it could just be an oversight. In the midseason preview, there is a clip of Beth rubbing Rip’s chest the same dress on and no ring. So gah. Who knows," one posted. Another wondered, "One of the preview shots is Kayce in a button-down shirt. There are only two reasons he would wear a button-down shirt - a funeral or a wedding. He was smiling so I'll assume it was Rip's funeral when he marries Beth." However, one fan pointed out, "It's a piece of bent barbed wire Rip found in one of the cow fields. Beth just mistook it for a ring. She's been wearing it ever since."

Nevertheless, the word on the street is strong. Many other viewers feel they may get married but their honeymoon could be interrupted. "I didn't think we would have a wedding season by the end too many loose ends still left to tie up. We will hopefully get one in season four or maybe Rip and Beth will a really long engagement like until the final season. I really hope that doesn't happen," one fan said and another posted, "'I believe in loving with your whole soul and destroying anything that wants to hurt what you love' #BethDutton Not the honeymoon after all. Looks like Beth made good on her threat and now Rip has to take her away to keep her safe."

Well, it's not just these rumors, Cole Hauser may have given a slight hint too. Shedding light on Beth and Rip's dynamic, he told Decider in an interview: "We talked very early on about what we thought the relationship is. It’s not like it’s changing; it’s more that you’re getting to see deeper into their hearts. You know what I mean? That’s how I look at it. I don’t look at it like they’re changing each season. It’s more that I’m getting to know them better, understanding how they both tick and how they both need each other. It’s almost like they have two different lives. Kelly and I have been very good about just communication and making sure that we’re comfortable with where the relationship is going."

Delving deeper into the bond he shares with his co-actor Kelly, he said, "She’s somebody that takes risks. I’d like to think that I am as well. I don’t like to do anything twice the same way. We both push each other in places, but we’ll also do things like making sure that the other feels protected as well. That’s kind of a beautiful thing that a lot of actors don’t really do a lot of with their co-stars. We want each of us to have our moments and yet also shine together. At this point, we’re very close. She’s married; I’m married. We’re great friends, and she’s like a sister to me."

And in the end, he said there might be "some light at the end of the road". "I don’t think he ever felt like a real relationship with Beth was something that was possible three years ago. With the love that she’s shown him throughout these last episodes and her proposing and giving him a ring… yeah, I think he’s starting to realize, wait a minute, there might be some light at the end of the road for us," he told the outlet. Whoa! Is that a confirmation?

While it may not come as a surprise that the two will soon be man and wife, what remains to be seen is whether the two can stick together through all the ups and downs. After all, their relationship has been one with chaos and beauty intertwined. So, are Beth and Rip endgame or something could still go wrong? We can only wait and watch.

Tune in to Paramount Network at 9 pm ET this Sunday, August 23, to catch the final episode of the season.
