It was a tough choice for fans on Sunday — 'Euphoria' or 'Yellowjackets season finale' and the latter, Showtime's hit drama of 2021, garnered ample eyeballs as they tuned in to watch the finale. Safe to say they weren't disappointed. The finale episode is where it all comes to a head for the survivors, both in the past and the present, or that's what we thought. 'Sic Transit Gloria Mundi' leaves the audience gasping with more questions while answering a miserly few.

"The season finale of #Yellowjackets sold me on a second season," read one of the tweets. "Everybody on the tl talking about Euphoria, meanwhile I need more #Yellowjackets moots bc that finale was A LOT and I want to talk about it," another remarked. "I can’t lie, that finale got me dumb hype for the next season #Yellowjackets," another fan wrote. "So #Yellowjackets is an insanely phenomenal show. That finale… my mind is all over the place. Cant wait for season 2," one of the fans remarked.

"So, Yellowjackets, full of fine performances for sure, but this show in particular & many shows in general need to cut to the chase already. I would have preferred the finale to have been moved up to ep 4/5. I get it ‘channels need content’ but *I* need efficient storytelling," one of the fans opined. "Omg that finale of #Yellowjackets was brutal," another tweet read. "I’m so sick about the #yellowjackets finale like I can appreciate the complexity of each of the characters but Shauna Shipman is a fucking villain idc," one of theories said.

The finale saw some startling revelations — from Lottie being shown as the Antler Queen to Jackie's death. Things look grim for Natalie in the present as Lottie, still alive, kidnaps her. The episode also sheds light on Taissa, who might have been working with Lottie all along. It was a lot to deal with, but 'Yellowjackets' ensured that the finale was as gripping as the rest of the episodes.

What are your thoughts on the 'Yellowjackets' finale?

'Yellowjackets' has been renewed for Season 2 and will return to Showtime.
