'Worst Cooks in America': 'RHONY' star Sonja Morgan's elimination shocks fans, they call it a 'wrong decision'

Banana and Sonja get a chance to redeem their fish fillet in five minutes but Banana gets to stay as Sonja ends up butchering one of the fillets

The previous episode of 'Worst Cooks in America' saw one member from each team create a crostini with a flavor combination decided by the judges and Brian Posehn became the first celebrity recruit to get eliminated. While the last challenge was comparatively easier for the recruits as they had to follow Anne Burrell and Tyler Florence’s recipes to make their versions of steaks and mashed potatoes, in the latest episode, ‘Sea-List To A-List’ celebrity chefs asked their recruits to recreate their Fish Papillote in 60 minutes. 

The Red and Blue team get straight into the action, with many struggling to even tell if the fish was “good enough” as described by their mentors. ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ fame Wells Adams does exactly what he was asked not to do, he recreates Burrell’s veg recipe. However, he impresses her with a well-prepared fish dish. ‘Full House’ star Dave Coulier from team Blue prepared the near-perfect dish and Chef Florence heaps him with praise. Meanwhile, Robin Givens wins from the Red team. Also safe this week is Bridgett Everette. 

However, ‘Real Housewives of New York’ star Sonja Morgan didn’t have her best day. She gets nominated to be in the blind elimination challenge with Johnny 'Bananas' Devenanzio. Banana and Sonja get a chance to redeem their fish fillet in five mins. Banana gets to stay as the latter ends up butchering one of the fillets. But, the ‘RHONY’ star gets to leave with $2500 for her charity. And she said she’s happy that her daughter will be proud of her mother’s cooking skills. 

However, Sonja’s fans are unhappy with her elimination and they took to Twitter to express their disappointment in the chefs’ decision. One wrote, “Worst cooks in America made the WRONG decision to send @SonjatMorgan home so I will no longer be watching.” While another said, "Sonja got eliminated from worst cooks in america so i will no longer be watching." Meanwhile, some fans took to Twitter much before the episode aired to share their love for Sonja, hoping she doesn’t get eliminated in the latest episode. “@FoodNetwork loving my girl Sonja Morgan on worst Cooks in America celebrity edition! Hoping she doesn't get eliminated tonight," shared one fan.
