A serial killer from Kansas took the lives of at least 10 women across two states in 1985 and one of his victims was 19-year-old Lisa Stasi whose body was never found.

Up until 2000, investigators had no idea what happened to Stasi's four-month-old baby girl Tiffany who was with her mother during her disappearance and death.

On Friday's ABC's 20/20, Heather Tiffany Robinson revealed that she was 15 when she discovered that her adoptive father was the brother of the man who had murdered her mother, Lisa Stasi.

After murdering Stasi, the murderer John Robinson kidnapped the baby. He then forged adoption papers before he gave baby Tiffany to his brother and sister-in-law who were desperate for a child.

The couple then renamed her Heather. According to investigators, the adoptive parents had no idea that John was a serial killer.

This is the first time that Heather has spoken out about her ordeal. In a report by People, Heather shared that knowing her birth mother did not voluntarily give her away, did not ease any of her pain.

"No, it made it worse. Everything I had fantasized and created about Lisa was completely taken away," Heather, now 34, said.

The 20/20 co-anchor Amy Robach added, "Heather surprisingly wasn't shocked to hear of John Robinson's crimes. She says she always got an uneasy feeling from him growing up."

John was arrested in 2000 for sexual battery and theft. When authorities searched his property, it led to the discovery of two missing women.

There were also two other bodies found in a storage unit rented in his name. John was convicted of three murders in Kansas and was sentenced to death. He also pleaded guilty in Missouri for the murders of five more women and received five life sentences without parole.

Robach added, "In the midst of investigating the murderous spree of John Robinson, detectives discovered that missing baby Tiffany, presumed dead, was actually alive and being raised by John's own brother. It was a shocking twist no one expected, especially Heather."
