A Florida woman, who allegedly sexually abused a teenage boy for years before giving birth to twins that he fathered, has now been arrested.

In April this year, deputies with the Volusia County Sheriff's Office received a tip that 40-year-old Spring Turner had been abusing the teenager from the age of 15, reports News 6.

According to the report, authorities learned she had gotten pregnant by him when he was 17.

The victim told detectives that Turner, of Deland, would make him smoke marijuana before having sex with him. The boy added that the abuse occurred while they were living under the same roof, although details of how or when he met Turner and why they were living in the same house are still unclear.

Records viewed by News 6 showed the teenager told deputies he engaged in sexual intercourse with Turner at least 20 times when he was aged 15-17.

He said he did not want to have sex with Turner, but she forced him to engage in the acts either when he came home from school or at night.

The victim, who cannot be named for legal reasons, said the last incident of abuse, as per records, occurred on July 4, 2018. According to the report, Turner allegedly threatened the boy that if he didn't have sex with her, she would kick him out of the residence.

Turner shared several photos and videos of the twins she birthed on social media, often gushing about them. An affidavit stated that Turner told police she didn't know who the father of her twins was.

According to her, people told her she had sex with the boy when she was drunk. However, she claimed she couldn't recall the incident. Furthermore, she allegedly asserted she felt compelled to do whatever the teenager wanted fearing she would be "punished".

A DNA test later determined that the teenager was, in fact, the father of the twins.

Turner was subsequently arrested on Thursday on charges of sexual battery of a minor older than 12 and younger than 18, a first-degree felony that is punishable in Florida with a fine or up to 30 years in prison, or both.
