'Windy City Rehab': Does Alison 'ruin' homes by painting them black? Fans say it looks like a Stephen King film
'Windy City Rehab' Season 2 has returned with newer and tougher challenges for home renovation expert Alison Victoria. In Episode 2, she is in Bridgeport, Chicago, where she is doing up a house in the best way she knows. However, fans are not impressed with her "obsession" with black.
She painted the brick exterior black, the main door black and the pier mirror black. Most viewers have shown their disappointment over how she uses black paint for most of her projects and it simply takes away the old world charm of the item or house.
"She could have spent a lot less money if she had something built with cheap wood and paint it black. And a beautiful antique would have been spared this indignity," a fan tweeted to which another responded: "A treasure ruined!" Alison spent a lot of her time discussing with her design expert how best the antique mirror can be polished. They went with a particular shade of wood stain, but later covered it with black when it didn't sit well with the interiors of the rest of the house.

"I really like the interior. I don’t even hate black painted brick, it just needs some other color for the trim. All black is too much! #windycityrehab," a user commented while another shared: "She painted EVERYTHING on the exterior black. The brick, the accent brick, the front door, even the door handle. The front of the house looks like a house from a Stephen King movie."
"#WindyCityRehab petition to stop this woman from painting these brick houses black! Its as annoying as her obsession with brass hoods brass doors and brass door knobs!" a fan posted.

Viewers may not appreciate her slant on having everything done up in black but that is the least of her worries given her current equation with business partner Donovan Eckhardt, who didn't communicate to her of the felling of a 300-year-old tree that stood proudly on the yard of one of her other projects. It left her upset and frustrated because it wasn't the first time that she was not aware of what Donovan had been working on.
