Will Jaskier settle down with Prince Radovid in ‘The Witcher’ Season 3 Volume 2? Volume 1 sets up potential romance
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: There are a lot of characters in ‘The Witcher’ franchise, whether it’s the books, different adaptations, and of course, the currently popular Netflix series. However, a few characters havy stood out, and right now, we aren’t talking about Geralt, Yennefer, or Ciri. ‘The Witcher’ Season 3 Volume 1 has given good screentime to fan-favorite Jaskier, who is portrayed by Joey Batey.
Jaskier is known mainly for the comic relief in ‘The Witcher’ on Netflix, but Season 3 Volume 1 has given an in-depth insight into the character. While Jaskier might love to sleep around, he might have developed some real feelings for Prince Radovid, played by Hugh Skinner. Yes, he is the guy from ‘Fleabag'. It will be interesting to see how Prince Radovid and Jaskier’s romance plays out in ‘The Witcher’ Season 3 Volume 2 and whether the latter would settle down.
Jaskier develops a crush
If you have finished watching ‘The Witcher’ Season 3 Volume 1, then you most likely noticed the sexual tension between Jaskier and Radovid. It could very easily be cut by a knife...or maybe a sword since we’re talking about ‘The Witcher'. Nevertheless, from the moment they met, there was a spark. Radovid notices the spark first, while Jaskier ignores it, which plays perfectly into the character that has been established. After their first meeting in ‘The Witcher’ Season 3 Episode 2, Jaskier talks about Radovid to a woman he just slept with. It doesn’t take her long to realize that Jaskier has developed a crush on Radovid. Now, although Jaskier denies this and claims “crushes are for children”, deep down he knows the truth, and of course, so does the audience.
Do Jaskier and Radovid get together?
It isn’t until Episode 4 of ‘The Witcher’ Season 3 that Jaskier and Radovid share a kiss, and it is also implied that they are about to sleep together. The creators have spread out little scenes of Jaskier and Radovid throughout the show, and it feels like a brilliant setup for the final three episodes in ‘The Witcher’ Season 3 Volume 2. This romance between the two men ely shown us a deeper side of Jaskier, and it would be a waste if it isn’t explored in the next part. Since ‘The Witcher’ Season 3 Volume 2 is only three episodes, and the Netflix series has a lot to unpack, one can only hope that Radovid and Jaskier get the screen time they deserve sd there is potential for a possible happily ever after there.
You can now stream ‘The Witcher’ Season 3 Volume 1 exclusively on Netflix.
