Meghan Markle challenged to take a lie detector test by half-sister Samantha
Meghan Markle may be beloved all over the world, but she has no shortage of haters, especially within her own family. The Duchess of Cambridge’s half-sister, Samantha Markle, has been going to the press and attacking her young sister every opportunity she gets, and now she has said that the royal mother-to-be is a liar, and that her lies would be exposed if she were to take a lie detector test.
Meghan had reportedly written a letter to father Thomas Markle about his habit of taking family matters to the press in May or August, and in response to her attempts at reaching out and rebuilding the relationship away from the limelight, he allegedly asked her if she would do a photoshoot with him.
Five of the Duchess’ friends had anonymously revealed the existence of this letter.
Now, Thomas has come out and rebuffed the claims that Meghan tried to patch things up with him, and released excerpts of the letter. In it Meghan talks about how she was hurt by the actions of her half-sister and Thomas’ other daughter, Samantha.
The letter reads, “You fixated and clicked on the lies they were writing about me, especially those manufactured by your other daughter, who I barely know. You watched me silently suffer at the hand of her vicious lies. I crumbled inside.”
In response to this, the 53-year-old went on an expletive-ridden rant and challenged Meghan to take a lie detector test. According to Daily Star, Samantha said she was "sick of the "bullsh*t" and slammed Meghan for saying she hardly knew her, and added that “if pointing out the fact that that letter was a manipulative lie breaks her heart, too bad it’s true.”
Samantha also told the online publication that she would no longer “let Meghan skip on her merry way without the truth being revealed”.
“Quite frankly I had faith in her on and off to do the right thing by her dad but I’m sick of the bulls**t. Nobody is trying to get close to her but she’s not going to ghost, insults, and destroy this family and skip on her merry way without the truth being revealed. Half of the population are already saying the same thing and they get it. I don’t have to preach to the choir anymore,” she reportedly said.
The author of the (working title) book ‘The Diary of Princess Pushy’s Sister,’ also said that Meghan need to stop making other people look bad in order to make herself look good.
Meghan has not been one to engage in the fights that her family members try to instigate. It seems unlikely that she would respond to this one, either, but it sure would put an end to the allegations and accusations levelled against her once and for all if she were to take the lie detector test.
Then again, Samantha does not seem like one to sit quietly and accept defeat. Only recently, she went after George Clooney, for coming out in support of Meghan regarding the media's treatment of her.
“Hey Looney Clooney! Your lawyer wife should have taught you not to make statements without facts," she had tweeted.
