A fan shared, "What if Val chooses a guy who rejects her? Cuz she was crying HARD #LoveIslandUSA." "Either Valerie gets rejected or she picks a guy with a lady who’s feeling froggy because homegirl was sh k. #LoveIslandUSA," continued the fan in a follow-up tweet. Another fan pointed out, "What would cause Valerie to cry?! like i couldn’t even imagine it, the boys can’t deny them if they’re chosen so what could it be #LoveIslandUSA." A fan on the show's Reddit page expressed, "The girl she stole a boy from lays into her? Or makes a mean comment? So she cries bc she feels bad?" "I think Valerie picks Isaiah and Sydney just went into ginger hellhound mode and chewed her up that's why she is crying?" guessed a fan. "Do we think the person Valerie picked doesn’t want to be with her? Or his partner said something? Where are these tears from girl," asked another fan. "I think the tears may be after she picked the person and the partner said something. My money is in her picking Isaiah and Sydney going off on her or him," observed a fan.

Val entered the villa as one of the first bombshells of the season alongside Mady McLanahan. The two ladies were given the power of deciding which of the G men they wanted to couple up with after they spent some time getting to know all the men. Mady decided to steal Courtney Boerner's partner Andy Voyen, while Val's pick was left as a cliffhanger for the next episode. The show's fans believe that Val may pick either Isaiah Campbell or Jesse Bray as her new partner, based on her chemistry with them.

'Love Island' Season 4 is exclusively available to stream on Peacock, with new episodes airing from Tuesday- Sundays, and Saturdays featuring recap episodes with unaired footage.
