WASHINGTON, DC: Some viewers of 'The Bachelorette' have expressed their displeasure with a choice surrounding the telecast of August 21 finale.

'The Bachelorette' will not air on 7News DC/WJLA in the Washington, DC, region on Monday.

The Bachelor Nation has been waiting for this moment since Charity Lawson initially invited 25 guys to the house.

What did fans say about  'The Bachelorette' Season 20 finale not being aired in the DC area?

While the live finale event will run from 8-11pm EST on Monday, August 21, DC area fans will have to tune in to the broadcasting network Charge! to see the season's last episode.

The Monday Night Football pre-season game between the Baltimore Ravens and the Washington Commanders has taken the place of the reality show. 7News turned to X, formerly known as Twitter, to notify its followers of the development.

Some followers reacted to the tweet, with one calling it "pathetic and disgraceful."

One user complained, "I can NOT figure out how to watch the finale on Charge! The app does not list the Bachelorette on their programming either. Please find a way to fix this ASAP!!!"

Another asked, "Who cares about pre-season football?" A fourth user tweeted, "Week after week, I rave about having an antenna to be able to watch #TheBachelorette without cable. And now, on the night of the finale, ABC in the DMV decides to air a PRESEASON football game instead and so now I can’t watch ….."

One user further tweeted, "omg why isn’t the bachelorette airing for me?! Preseason football is on instead?!!! I can’t handle this rn."

Some thought it was rude as they wrote, "Apparently my local ABC station is airing a preseason football game between the Ravens and the Commanders instead of #TheBachelorette finale."

What to expect from 'The Bachelorette' Season 20 finale?

In the Season 20 finale, Charity will make her last decision and maybe accept a proposal from one of the three remaining contestants: Joey Graziadei, Dotun Olubeko, or Aaron Bryant, who was previously eliminated and reappeared at the conclusion of the most recent episode.

While Aaron may have returned to Fiji for a second chance, Charity will have to choose between integrative medicine doctor Dotun and tennis player Joey.

Charity is shown practically hyperventilating in teaser footage for Monday's finale after realizing she is in love with the three men.

She expresses anxiety about the possibility that she will come to regret her decision. Charity breaks down and sobs in her final outfit of the season, joining the three guys as they spend their final moments in Fiji.

The main lead is then seen crying again as the door of a black car closes in front of her. While Charity is dressed beautifully in a pearl-studded gown, it's evident she has some difficult decisions to make before perhaps getting engaged in tonight's episode.

'The Bachelorette' airs on Mondays at 8 pm ET on ABC.
