Why did Jasmine cry? Victor and Carmen's connection leaves 'Love Island USA' Season 5 islander jealous
PACIFIC HARBOUR, FIJI: 'Love Island USA' Season 5 kicked off with five couples, but the romance soon started fizzling out with the arrival of new bombshells in the villa. For six weeks, a cast of singles will seek romantic connections in an oceanfront Fijian mansion and aim to stay coupled up to remain eligible for a fan-favorite vote at the end of the series. The winning couple will take home $100,000.
Throughout the season, new cast members will join the villa, challenging the established couples as they try to form connections. However, connections are confirmed to be broken with the arrival of new contestants on the Island. Jasmine Sklavanitis was coupled up with Jason Momoa look-alike Victor Gonzalez but new bombshell Carmen Kocourek stole him.
Victor and Carmen's romance sparks jealousy in Jasmine
Jasmine was heartbroken when she saw Victor and Carmen's relationship, despite the fact that she initially felt no chemistry with Victor. When Carmen and Victor rekindled their relationship, she became envious of their growing interest in one another. The previous episode gave Carmen, the first challenge winner, the opportunity to select the guy. Carmen chose Victor while everyone else in the room watched. The two seem to have a close relationship ever since. But Victor's former flame departed feeling a little letdown. When Jasmine saw Victor and Carmen together in the most recent episode, she broke down in tears since she had started to feel the same way about him. However, Jasmine decided to make a big statement and kiss Harrison despite being newly single after Carmen snatched Victor.
Jasmine didn't feel a connection with Victor at first
Victor wanted to find his 'fairytale princess,' but to his dismay, no one stepped up for him. Jasmine was eventually coupled up with Victor in the premiere episode. However, she was seemingly not happy as there was no 'initial spark'. Meanwhile, Victor was amazed after his kiss with Jasmine. Later, the entire cast played a kissing game cut short by host Hyland's arrival. The 'Modern Family' star announced that the islanders had to vote for who they thought was the least compatible couple. Jasmine and Victor get one vote for the least compatible couple. However, bombshell Carmen's entry changed things. Jasmine remains another unhappy islander! Despite her lack of chemistry with Victor, she felt nervous about his date with a new bombshell.
