Why did Aaron Erb quit 'The Bachelorette'? Fighter pilot warns Jenn Tran about co-stars before exit
MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA: A call from his boss at the hotel gave 'The Bachelorette' Season 21 suitor Aaron Erb, an Air Force fighter pilot, just one day to decide whether to report for training the following week. Before making his decision, he went on a group date in a race car with Hakeem Moulton, Austin James Ott, and Jeremy Simon.
Aaron was disappointed to lose the race to Austin, as he had hoped for more one-on-one time to help him make his decision, despite being the only one who knew how to drive a stick shift.
Aaron had the chance to talk with Jenn Tran during the evening part of the date, and their relationship stayed strong. However, Aaron gained perspective when he saw that Jeremy received the group date rose.
He realized that he and Jenn weren't close enough to continue on the show. At the cocktail reception, he told her that he needed to follow his goal and would be leaving.
Aaron Erb slammed by 'The Bachelorette' Season 21 fans for snitching on co-stars
Before leaving, Aaron urged Jenn to "be careful" and declined to name names, suggesting that some men were on the show for the wrong reasons and others weren't ready for an engagement. Jenn felt "confused" by the conversation, despite believing she could trust her instincts.
On X, one fan said, "If you're gonna snitch on the guys, DO IT WITH YOUR WHOLE CHEST. That was pathetic Aaron..." Another fan added, "ALSO Aaron is a little BITCH bc how the hell are you gonna drop a bomb like that, not tell jenn WHO you’re talking about then LEAVE so no one can confront you."

One fan wrote, "Aaron is a dick. Dropping that bombshell like that when you voluntarily left on your own is such a dick move. Why say people aren’t here for the right reasons and not say any names? Men are stupid." Another added, "Aaron getting a free exit…a little too convenient to me."

Aaron Erb and Devin Strader lock heads in 'The Bachelorette' Season 21
Aaron responded to Devin Strader in several dramatic ways on 'The Bachelorette' Season 21, Episode 2. Devin had taken Jenn away during a group date in Australia so they could enjoy some gelato in private.
This upset Aaron, as he felt that group activities were the only appropriate part of a date. Later in the episode, Devin snatched Jenn from Aaron once more by presenting her with an ice cream sundae during the group date cocktail party. However, Aaron returned to reclaim Jenn, only for Devin to swoop in again.
