LAS VEGAS, NEVADA: The chilling case of Thomas Randolph, convicted for the murder of his wife Sharon Causse, is featured in Investigation Discovery's latest true crime docu-series titled 'The Black Widower: The Six Wives of Thomas Randolph'.

The miniseries is likely to explore his relationship with his six wives, two of whom parted ways within a few years of their marriage, while the rest four met a tragic end.

Before delving into the series, take a look at Thomas Randolph's six wives and how things ended for each one of them.

Randolph was 20 when he married 18-year-old Kathryn Thomas in 1975. As per a report by The Sun, the duo parted ways in 1983 for the reasons best known to them.

When Randolph was tried in court for the murder of his sixth wife, she testified against him, calling him "controlling" and "manipulative".

Becky Gault

Randolph then married a woman named Becky Gault. Sins and Survivors states that Becky was subjected to emotional abuse as Randolph began to control every aspect of her life.

Randolph had hired Eric Tarantino, a hitman, to kill Becky but he backed out fearing that Randolph would kill him after the job was done.

Three years after their marriage, she was found dead at home, with a bullet in her head. Her death was initially ruled as a suicide but those who knew Becky raised suspicion against Randolph.

After her death, Randolph received $500,000 from the life insurance policy.

More than two years after her death, he was charged with Becky’s murder in 1988. He was also charged with a second-degree felony charge of filing a false insurance claim.

To avoid a verdict against him, he hired another hitman to kill Eric Tarantino, so that he wouldn't testify against him. However, this hitman turned out to be an undercover cop and Randolph was charged with conspiracy to commit murder.

Randolph eventually pleaded guilty but somehow walked away as a free man. That is when Beckie’s mother, Martha, said, “He's guilty, and he's just going to kill someone else's daughter, so beware," as quoted by Sins and Survivors.

Gayna Allmon

After the death of his second wife, he went on to marry again. But the third time wasn't a charm for Randolph. Their marriage ended within a few years and his wife Gayna Allmon took a stand against him in the trial of his sixth wife's murder.

As per The Sun, Gayna told the jury that Randolph tried to kill her when she was married to him. She said that he fired at her while cleaning his gun. Gayna had a narrow escape but the bullet left a hole in the kitchen wall.

Randolph's fourth marriage was with Francis Thomas which ended in 2004 with her death. She was reported to have died from botched heart surgery. However, during his trial, a man called Glen Morrison claimed that Randolph hired him to kill Francis and make it look like a robbery.

The man rejected Randolph's proposal and sometime later, Francis met a tragic end.

Leona Stapleton

Randolph married Leona Stapleton shortly after the death of his fourth wife. There's not much information available about his marriage with Leona.

The Sun reports that Randolph claimed Leona died of cancer.

Thomas Randolph's sixth marriage was his last one. Sharon Causse was found dead at home in 2008 in what appeared to be a home invasion.

Randolph claimed that he found his wife dead and then shot the masked man who broke into their home and killed her.

Upon suspecting Randolph, the cops arrested him in 2009 for the murders of Sharon and Michael Miller, the hit man he hired to kill his wife.

While Randolph maintained that he was innocent, the court found him guilty and announced imprisonment of 60 years in April 2024.
