SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH: Monica Garcia recently provided a shocking glimpse into her personal life. In the latest episode of 'The Real Housewives Of Salt Lake City' Season 4, Monica revealed that she has married twice in her life.
Before tying the knot with Mike Garcia, Monica already had one broken marriage behind her. Monica showed throwback photos including senior prom photos to her oldest daughter Bre.
However, Monica noted that she wanted to show Bre something special. She shared, "So when my dad left when I was 4, my mom like destroyed everything."
Monica added, "I don't even know what my dad looks like." She then admitted that she didn't want her daughter Bre to "feel the same" way she did, having no pictures to associate with her biological dad.
Monica noted, "These are all pictures. These photo album is yours now.. of me when I was pregnant with you but it's also of your dad... your biological dad."
Monica admitted in the confessional, "I got pregnant very young. I married her father at the time. He left for work one day and my daughter was crawling on the floor."
She recalled, "I could hear her playing with something and it was a clear plastic pack full of oxycodone in that moment I grabbed my daughter and I never looked back."
However, Monica didn't reveal any further details about her first husband.
Mike adopted Monica Garcia's daughter Bre
In the latest episode of 'RHOSLC' Season 4, Monica Garcia revealed that her second husband, Mike, had adopted her daughter, Bre.
Monica shared that she started dating Mike when Bre was 1 and he has always been there for her eldest daughter.
Monica admitted, "Bre is very well aware that Mike adopted her because when I was going through all of these... I went to therapy and the number one thing that the therapist told me was always to be honest."
Monica and Mike got married in September 2009. However, they got divorced just a few years later as Monica filed for divorce in December 2013, citing irreconcilable differences.
But then, a few months later, an order for dismissal was entered into the system and the divorce was dismissed in January 2015.
Monica and Mike appear to have had multiple ups and downs, especially since the housewife revealed she had an 18-month affair with her brother-in-law. This led to her being ex-communicated from the Mormon church.
Monica was refiled for divorce on June 12, 2023.

Meanwhile, Monica also shares three daughters Jaidyn, 13, West, 7, and Kendall, 6 from her second marriage with Mike.
However, as Monica and Mike recently got divorced, he was ordered to pay $2,636 a month in child support for all four daughters of the reality star.
