Tired of all the threats and backlash, Val decided to address the situation in a brief TikTok video where she explained her side of the story.

The 22-year-old clarified that at the time of their kiss both Chase and Madelyn were reportedly single. "As far as I’m concerned they’re both single. They’ve been single for over a month. One thing led to another and we ended up just making out," she explained. She also shared that the video must have been captured as the lights in the building turned on during the closing time. "In my eyes, (Chase) looked drunk." "I know I was pretty drunk. That’s literally what it was. Just two drunk people making out.”
In the full video, she confirmed she and Chase were not dating and that the hookup was nothing serious.
