The latest season of 'RuPaul's Drag Race' is finally here and we're already at the edge of our seats. While we were geared up to meet the queens, see them take on a mini and a maxi challenge and then finally process the first lip-sync of the season, we ended up on an episode with six lip syncs instead.

Every season comes with a twist and this time around, viewers were introduced to it the second the queens walked out through the door. As the contestants entered in groups of two, they were immediately called on to the main stage, where they had to lip-sync for their lives in front of RuPaul, Michelle Visage and Ross Mathews. The winning queen then made her way to the Untucked lounge, while the queen who had to sashay away was sent to the Pork Chop room. This twist gave viewers a chance to see who could be a potential lip-sync assassin but at the same time, it definitely put all the queens in a tough spot.

Fans were quick to hop on to Twitter to gush over the performances, especially when Utica Queen and Gottmik faced off each other to Lindsay Lohan's 'Rumors'. While the lip-sync itself was all sorts of epic, fans were thrilled to hear the 2004 hit by Lindsay Lohan play on the main stage. "Can we talk about how Iconic it is that a Lindsay Lohan song was on drag race and Mean Girls was scheduled right after drag race? This is LL’s comeback year. Mark my words!" said one fan.

"A lip sync to the classic hit 'Rumors' by @lindsaylohan on #DragRace directly followed by #MeanGirls. I think we know which #queen won tonight. 2021 is already the Year of Lohan." said another. Another fan pointed out that the first episode had an epic playlist, for sure - "The fact that we had a Lindsay Lohan song AND Lady Marmalade as lip syncs tonight? The power that has. #RPDR #DragRace."

While Gottmik won the lip-sync and Utica Queen got 'the pork chop', it turns out she might not be going home just yet. Either way, we are beyond excited to see what happens next!
