An Alabama man has now been arrested for killing his camgirl wife, and has stated that he '‘wasn’t as sexual as she was."

An Alabama jury has declared, 47-year-old William Jeffrey West, guilty of killing online adult model Kathleen West, who used to post pictures under the name 'Kitty Kat West'. The body of the partially nude model was found along the street in front of their suburban home in Calera in January 2018. Investigators have stated that West killed his wife with a blow to the head from a liquor bottle. His fingerprints were traced on the Lucid Absinthe bottle that prosecutors said was used to kill her. West will be facing two to 20 years in prison after the verdict was handed down late on Friday, November 20 in Columbiana, news outlets reported.

The defense has argued that Kathleen died after getting drunk in an alleged, "accidental fall", as her autopsy report suggested that alcohol content in her blood was 0.23, which is three times the legal limit.

Kathleen, who resembled Marilyn Monroe, used to post lingerie pictures online and used to charge viewers to see sexier images. According to the defense team, the pictures did not cause any discord or problems between the couple and that West helped her in the process.

Reports suggest that West killed his wife after they had an argument following a "date night." The voicemails and text messages came out as proof of the very frequent arguments. Shelby County jurors found a text sent from Kathleen's phone, eight days before her death. She had written: “I know you’re scared to tell me you don’t want to be with me, but it’s only hurting me more by lying,” al.com reported. She wrote: “if you don’t want me say it.” She was told, “Baby, I want you. Do you want me? We really never talked after NYE.” She told him that he was “throwing away 14 years of marriage". Yet she sent him nude pictures of her, adding in another message: “Thank you for making me feel sexy.”

West told prosecutors that they had a happy marriage. But, there was some dispute as his wife was interested in having sex four or five times a week. He did not always want to have sex that often, reports AL. “I’m not as sexual as she is. It is what it is. I’m happy with myself. She wasn’t happy with it," he told cops. West said his wife was bisexual, and the couple had talked about her having relations with other women. He said: “She liked girls. She recently wanted to look into the lifestyle.”

On January 12, 2018, the day when she was killed, West took some pictures of her, where she wore a pink bra, pink multi-colored underwear and pink stiletto heels, after which the couple went out for drinks and dinner at Red Zone Bar and Grill. On their way back home, the couple decided to buy some booze and stopped at a wine store from where West bought a bottle of Jameson whiskey for himself and Kat got a bottle of Lucid Absinthe. West told the police, that they came to their Calera home and had around six drinks together.

West, got full support from his wife's family after the court proceeding on Friday, as they all said that he was innocent, and insisted that Kathleen had a drinking problem, where as West was a loving and supportive husband and was also a good father to their teenage daughter. The army veteran worked as a campus police officer at Birmingham-Southern College before his arrest. Kathleen's mother, Nancy Martin, said that her daughter was taking medication for her alcohol problem and for bipolar disorder and she also had a history of binge drinking. West's next hearing has been scheduled for January 2021.
