'90 Day Fiance' is a prominent TLC reality TV show, focused on international dating. The stars of this show often make a hefty income from the show or later on from the fan following they gather online, and some earn by starting new businesses. Prominent '90 Day Fiance' stars, like Big Ed, Anfisa Nava, Darcey Silva, and many more are expected to have earned more than $500,000 each from their previous or current business ventures.

Amid the cast of '90 Day Fiance', one star has remarkably risen to claim the throne as the wealthiest, and that is none other than David Murphey. With a Ukrainian girlfriend featured on the show, he proposed to her at the airport and spared no expense in showering her with gifts. However, suspicion eventually crept in, leading him to hire an investigator to uncover any signs of infidelity. Ultimately, he made the difficult decision to call off the relationship.

David Murphey: The richest star of '90 Day Fiance'

Murphey holds the crown for the highest-earning star of the show with an estimated net worth of $2.5 million. Hailing from Las Vegas, Murphey worked as a computer programmer at SR Systems Programmer for Clark County in Nevada. Not only did he excel in his full-time tech job, but also generated extra income by selling his high-end possessions. Murphey's programming career brought him an annual income of approximately $110,000, and with 16 years of dedicated service to the same company, he established a strong professional foundation.

In addition to his impressive net worth, Murphey's financial success extends to his appearances on '90 Day Fiance'. Not only does he earn a substantial amount of around $15,000 per season, but he also receives a bonus of $2,500 for his participation in the 'Tell All' episodes. Despite spending a hefty sum on dating sites, as demonstrated in '90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days' Season 4, where he shelled out over $2,000 per month to communicate with his Ukrainian girlfriend, Lana, Murphey remains unfazed by the price tag. His love story took an expensive turn as he spent over $100,000 exclusively on messaging his foreign partner. Furthermore, Murphey owns a house in Las Vegas which solidifies his financial assets.

The end of David Murphey and Lana's relationship

Murphey from '90 Day Fiance' finally opened up about the reasons behind his breakup with Lana, as reported by ET Online. Despite spending a significant amount of money and effort to pursue their relationship, Murphey revealed that Lana had been communicating with multiple men on the same dating website while they were engaged. He admitted that he became aware of her actions and ultimately decided to end the relationship.

Murphey expressed his disappointment but also acknowledged that he had learned valuable lessons from the experience and also shared that he had made more than 20 trips to Ukraine to meet women and engaged in conversations with over 1,000 women. Despite spending a significant sum, ranging anywhere from $250,000 to $300,000, over the years, he expressed no regrets and described it as an incredible and "adventurous journey."

TLC announced a fresh 90-day saga, '90 Days Fiance: Before the 90 Days' Season 6, which premieres on Sunday, June 4, at 8 pm ET.
