Who is Carly Green? 'The View' hosts congratulate producer on her wedding: 'So happy for them'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: ‘The View’ co-hosts never shy away from celebrating big and small days, especially when it comes to the crew. Recently, they celebrated World Intern Day on-air, and during Monday’s segment, they congratulated one of their producers on her engagement. Carly Green, who has been working with ‘The View’ for over seven years, was the highlight of the segment.
Sara Haines and Alyssa Farah Griffin attended Green's wedding along with the other members of ‘The View’ and even shared pictures of the same on their social media accounts. Green has been an integral part of ‘The View’ and this was their way of showing appreciation toward her.
Who is Carly Green?
As mentioned previously, Green is one of the producers of ‘The View’ and has been with the talk show for just over seven years. Green is a graduate of Colgate University. Before working with ‘The View’, Green also worked with Yahoo News, ‘Late Show with David Letterman, 'Today’ and ‘The Dr Oz Show’. As of now, she is a permanent and beloved member of ‘The View’. Green recently married Nick Zawerucha. Green wasn’t present on the sets of ‘The View’ during Monday's segment, however, that doesn’t mean the hosts forgot about her and her husband.
‘I’m so happy for them’
On Monday, Whoopi Goldberg said, “One of our producers got married over the weekend." "And you were there,” she said as she pointed to Haines. Haines responded, “Yes, this is Carly and her amazing husband Nick, they are a beautiful couple. Carly is one of our favorite people here, but a bunch of us went and I think we have pictures of that.”
‘The View’ flashed a few photos from the wedding on the screen. Haines noted, “Not the entire View family, but a big chunk of the View family, and we raged until we shut the place down.” Griffin, who was also present at the wedding, said, “I had one too many but I love them. I’m so happy for them. Carly means the world to me so congratulations to Nick and Carly.”
