PACIFIC HARBOUR, FIJI: 'Love Island USA' Season 5 has brought a new twist to the dating game. Introducing 12 new contestants is about to stir the drama and create the needed chaos in the storyline. Among all the 7 new girls who were introduced in the Casa Amor episode, the one who stunned contestants and viewers alike with her appearance was Ashley Sims.

Well, it seems like Ashley's striking resemblance to singer Selena Gomez has put her in the limelight. But the question is, how far will this take her in the dating show?

Who is Ashley Sims?

Ashley Sims is a 23-year-old Jefferson City native. She currently lives in Miami Beach, Florida, and is a Beverage Cart Attendant and a college student. Besides this, she is also a model. Her talent is managed by the State. Ashley is also a digital creator, bagging 8,203 followers on her Instagram. Ashley calls herself, "blessed, thankful, and focused." When not working, Ashley loves to hop on beaches in her swimsuit. 

Ashley also has a Mass Communications degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She did her schooling at Blue Valley North High School. After graduation, she did a job as a director of Marketing in Kansas City. She then did some work in photography and learned the skill. Later, Ashley joined Hollywood Beach Golf Resort as Marketing Director.

'Ashley looks like Selena Gomez'

When you take a look at Ashley's picture, she looks like a doppelganger of Gomez. Ashley has a small face, beautiful eyes, and thick lips, almost similar to that of Gomez. When Ashley smiles she looks like an exact replica of the 'Love You Like a Love Song' singer. Seeing this, a fan commented, "I think the producers of Love Island Usa wanted Becky G or Selena Gomez to be Casa Amor bombshells. But it was impossible so they cast Ashley who is a mix of both." Another asked, "Selena Gomez is this u." 

A fan commented on Instagram, "Ashley looks like selena gomez." To this, another replied, "I thought the same thing!"

'Love Island USA' Season 5 premiered on Peacock on Tuesday, July 18, 2023. During premiere week, new episodes will be available to stream every day at 9 pm ET. Subsequently, new episodes will be released on Thursdays through Tuesdays on Peacock.
