As per reports, Max Chambers from Team Bublé and DEK of Hearts from Team Niall won the fan vote during the Playoffs, securing spots in the Top 6. They joined Aiden Ross, Aubrey Nicole, Jazz McKenzie, and Ralph Edwards to perform on the first night of the two-part 'The Voice' finale, as per Entertainment Now. DEK of Hearts from Team Niall, hailing from Nashville, performed the classic 'Fishin' in the Dark' by Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, as per Gold Derby.

McEntire praised the performance, saying, "That sounded terrific. I love that song forever," while Horan applauded their reliability, noting, "Consistency is king around this place, and these guys have never, ever put a foot wrong… what a way to start 'The Finale.'" Chambers, from Team Bublé, delivered a contemporary performance of 'YOUR WAY'S BETTER' by Forrest Frank. Bublé praised his courage, saying, "It's bold to be open about your faith… the fact that you just did that is amazing."

Among the other singers, for her first song, Nicole performed ''Til You Can't' by Cody Johnson, prompting Snoop to call it "one of the greatest performances I've seen you do." "You deserve to be here. You are phenomenal," he said. McKenzie impressed the judges with Phil Collins' 'Against All Odds', while Ross sang 'Golden Hour' by Jvke. "This guy is beyond, it is absolutely insane. I am so proud of you, Aiden. You always do find the heartbeat in the end... that song was amazing for you," Horan said after Ross' performance.

While the winner will be revealed on December 16, as per  American Songwriter, many predictions favour Team Reba's Nicole as the favourite to win 'The Voice' Season 28. The two-hour December 16 episode will also feature special performances by Khalid and XG. Notably, both Bublé and Horan are aiming for their third win. 'The Voice' Season 28 finale will also feature celebrity guest performers, including Journey founder Neal Schon and band members, along with Season 26 winner Sofronio Vasquez. Other performers include Zac Brown, Noah Cyrus, and Riley Green. Both Monday's performances and Tuesday's results episodes will air for two hours starting at 9 pm ET on NBC, as per Talent Recap, with an hour-long pre-show hosted by Ariana Madix and Dylan Efron set to recap Monday’s performances.
