Dotun's parents flew in from Nigeria for their Hometown date

Dotun had assumed that because his parents were in Nigeria, he wouldn't be able to see Charity on his hometown date in Fresno, California. They startled them by showing up for the family supper prepared by his grandmother. Clearly, Charity was quite well-regarded among Dotun's family as his mother promised that if she selected Dotun, she would take her away to Nigeria and throw her a lavish wedding. Dotun's grandmother even told Charity that she adored her, while his mother said she should treat them like her family.

'Plan the wedding for the next day'

Reacting to Charity and Dotun's hometown date, fans couldn't help but gush over it on social media. One said, "You better marry Dotun, Charity. Nigeria to Fresno is a 26+ hour flight." Another wrote, "Dotun’s parents coming back from Nigeria for this hometown date. "abc flew in dotun’s parents from nigeria for his hometown??? season over," expressed one who was elated with the gesture. An emotional fan expressed, "OMG DOTUN’S PARENTS SURPRISING HIM BY COMING FROM NIGERIA IM SOBBINGGGGG." Ranking it the best Hometown date, a user noted, "Dotun’s parents flying all the way from Nigeria to meet Charity, the drive-in movie slideshow date, Charity crying tears of happiness… I need them to workout for real." "I should’ve known his parents would show up randomly from “Nigeria”," stated a fan, with another adding, "HIS PARENTS LITERALLY CAME TO MEET HER ALL THE WAY FROM NIGERIA IM BAWLING MARRY HIM NOW." "They came back from Nigeria? Plan the wedding for the next day. This is too sweet," wrote a 'The Bachelorette' fan who is clearly rooting for Dotun and Charity.
