Is Whitney jealous of Buddy's relationship? 'My Big Fat Fabulous Life' star's demands irk fans

Season 9 of 'My Big Fat Fabulous Life' is back and so is the tension between Whitney Thore and Buddy Bell. After teasing fans for years with 'will they eventually end up together' guessing game, Buddy seems to have put an end to the speculation of them getting together romantically by getting into a relationship with a woman named Courtney Renee Marsh.

After her very public and ugly split from her former fiance, Chase Severino, newly single Whitney moved back home to Greensboro, North Carolina, to be closer to her loved ones while trying to grow her business empire. Buddy and Whitney planned to stay together when she decided to move back. Although they did move into the same house, Buddy is hardly at theirs. Since Buddy's girlfriend doesn't stay close to Greensboro, in order to cut the commute time, Buddy began staying over at his girlfriend's place so that he could spend more time with her.

Although Buddy is technically still Whitney's housemate and continues to pay his share of their rent, the 'MBFFL' star isn't happy with his absence. Whitney feels that since its Buddy's house too, he should be spending more time in their home rather than going away to his girlfriend's place. The premiere episode featured Whitney calling out Buddy for it. She hosted a housewarming party for their family and friends, and assigned Buddy the responsibility of bringing the meat for the guests. Buddy's late arrival to the party left Whitney fuming.

So she called him out in front of all the guests for not staying at their home and not making her his priority. When fans watched Whitney's reaction to Buddy spending more time with his girlfriend they began wondering if she was jealous of him and his new relationship. A fan tweeted, "#MyBigFatFabulousLife Whitney is still acting jealous over Buddy. Smh. Hes paying rent but if he doesn't want to be home he shouldn't have to be. Fans also felt that Whitney was out of line for expecting Buddy to always be available for her. A fan wrote, "So buddy is doing his life and not available to Whitney 24/7 and it’s an issue? Another fan advised, "Buddy, Pack up and move. Take away Whitney's control. Save yourself! #MyBigFatFabulousLife."
