MAMANUCA ISLANDS, FIJI: CBS's 'Survivor' Season 45 was filmed in the breathtaking Mamanuca Islands of Fiji. This location has helped the show use Fiji's magnificent landscapes, combining natural beauty with the show's dynamic gameplay and strategy.

'Survivor' Season 45 is the ultimate contest as the OG and the gold standard of reality programming as players compete against one another in a brutal test of endurance to see who can outlast the competition to reach the promised land.

In a major announcement, Season 44's Bruce Perreault is set to return for Season 45. After suffering a concussion during the very first competition of Season 44, Perreault was regrettably pulled from the show for medical safety.

In the latest season, 18 players would dramatically jump off a giant barge into the crystal-clear waters of Fiji to win the coveted title of Sole Survivor and the million-dollar prize.

What is the new twist in 'Survivor' Season 45?

'Survivor' Season 45 introduces a game-changing twist revealed by Martin Holmes on his Inside Survivor Patreon. Winning tribes can now send an observer to the rival tribe's Tribal Council.

However, the latest twist might sound familiar to 'Survivor' fans, as similar concepts were used briefly in past seasons. However, making it a regular feature is set to reshape Tribal Council dynamics, potentially offering tribes strategic advantages or insights.

However, the real and exciting suspense is how this twist will be executed and the implications it might bring to the game.

How to get cast on CBS 'Survivor'?

Getting on CBS 'Survivor' could be more tough than the actual competition. 'Survivor' host and showrunner Jeff Probst shared the process with Entertainment Weekly, "First of all, there has to be drive. That should seem obvious, but it's not always the case."

Probst further revealed, "Sometimes people apply and even though they say and do all the right things, you can tell that the drive just isn't there. And if we don't sense a real need to be on this show, then we know it's not the right time for you."

The second thing Probst is looking for is simple self-awareness. However, in the final round, Probst looks for players who are simply good at talking and have storytelling skills.

Probst revealed that no two contestants could be the same, and neither are their journeys through the 'Survivor' casting process.
