HOUSTON, TEXAS: 'Love Is Blind' Season 5 was filmed in Houston, Texas. The first four seasons of the Netflix dating show were filmed in various bustling cities across the country that had fun activities for singles.

The show’s production company typically chooses to cast and film in highly-populated US cities.

'Love Is Blind' Season 1 was set in Atlanta, Georgia; Season 2 took place in Chicago, Illinois; Season 3 occurred in Dallas, Texas; and Season 4 was filmed in Seattle, Washington.

Meanwhile, the viewers are still gushing over the 'Love is Blind' Season 4, which showed the story of five couples who got engaged without being able to see each other.

However, three couples got married and one couple split up at the end of the season.

The upcoming season guarantees more sweet yet awkward moments as the singles explore connections in the pods and fall in love without seeing each other.

How were singles selected for 'Love Is Blind' Season 5?

Chris Coelen and Netflix sought out one specific criteria for single men and women interested in being cast on the show.

They announced the criteria on social media platforms and on the show's official webpage and held casting calls through different locations.

However, showrunner Chris Coelen revealed in an interview with EW, "We have a great casting department and they reached out to people who they felt would be genuinely interested in this kind of commitment."

Chris further disclosed, "We wanted people who aren't just doing it for the attention. There’s certainly plenty of places for people who want to do stuff for the attention. We wanted to be really dealing with people who were genuinely interested in it."
