ONTARIO, CANADA: 'Vacation House Rules' is all set to return for Season 4 with HGTV real estate expert Scott McGillivray. The renovation expert will transform rundown properties into dreamy abodes for residents. Contractor and designer Debra Salmoni will join the crew to help McGillivray with her years of real estate and renovation experience.
McGillivray and professional crew will be giving many such shabby homes in popular vacation spots a facelift in the upcoming season of the HGTV show. However, 'Vacation House Rules' viewers must be wondering which cities will McGillivray visit.

Where is 'Vacation House Rules' Season 4 filmed?
'Vacation House Rules' Season 4 is filmed in and around Ontario, Canada. McGillivray went to various counties in Ontario including Haliburton Highlands, Muskoka and Wasaga Beach in Season 1. In Season 2, the show was filmed in various spots around Southern Ontario including Trent Lakes, Trent Hills, Minden, Blue Mountain, Collingwood and Kawartha Lakes.
In the the latest season, McGillivray, Salmoni and the rest of the crew will continue to renovate the abodes in counties in Ontario. The first episode of Season 4 will feature a neglected lakeside cabin purchased by new homeowners who realized that they had made the wrong decision. However, McGillivray and Debra utilize cutting-edge technology to transform their old home into a swanky and modern residence. 'Vacation House Rules' Season 4 will likely feature more rental properties in Southern Ontario.
Scott McGillivray owns property near 'Vacation House Rules' shooting locations
McGillivray has years of real estate experience and he enjoys helping his clients renovate their vacation properties in HGTV's 'Vacation House Rules'. The renovation expert actually owns property near one of the show's shooting locations, Kawartha Lakes. Most of the episodes have been filmed around the cities of Ontario and living close to clients helps him to understand his clients' problems better.
In an interview with The Highlander, McGillivray gushed about his home. He said, "It's nice to stay close to where I am doing properties. It's a beautiful area. I think it's underestimated. There's a lot of potential here for growth. Some other areas are just saturated and overdone and it's maybe not quite as difficult to get into."
'Vacation House Rules' Season 4 premieres on Saturday, June 3, at 9 pm ET/PT on HGTV.
