Where is 'Naked & Afraid: Last One Standing' Season 2 filmed? Franchise's All-Stars take on punishing terrain
ORIBI GORGE, KWAZULU NATAL: Returning for a second season, 'Naked and Afraid' will test the mettle of the best survivalists in an attempt to win the championship and a tidy sum of money. 'Naked and Afraid: Last One Standing' opens with a tournament unlike anything viewers have ever seen, taking place in Munzwa Valley, Africa.
'Naked and Afraid: Last One Standing' was the top Discovery Channel series in 2023 for a variety of reasons, including intense challenges, fierce rivalry, and explosive group dynamics that test the mettle of even the most skilled survivalists. This Sunday, July 14, at 8 PM ET/PT, the network will be back with 14 'Naked and Afraid' All-Stars putting their rudimentary survival abilities to the test over a 45-day period in the harsh African bush.
The group, which consists of a mix of divisive characters and fan favorites, will risk everything to win a cash reward and become the "Last One Standing''.
The Munzwa Valley's enormous size in Africa increases the competitors' risks and profits. In the brutal kill zone, hunters must contend with lions, leopards, and hyenas for the same big game, which includes kudu, warthogs, and impala.
One camp is forced to leave its shelter in the middle of the night as baboons and rhinos threaten to drive the survivalists out of their region.
'Naked and Afraid: Last One Standing' Season 2 kicks off with a double blow
After arduous, multiphase trials, competitors will arrive empty-handed and must acquire the equipment necessary to obtain food, water, fire, and shelter. Unexpectedly, on Day One, there is a head-to-head challenge that leads to a double elimination before the survivalists even reach camp.
Since competitors in this season's battle will not be permitted to share any of their tools with other competitors, the stakes are considerably higher.
Each man for himself: 'Naked and Afraid: Last One Standing' Season 2
The players will enter the African bush with nothing, just like Season 1. Through a demanding, multiphase, 45-day task, they will have to gain the equipment necessary to secure the food, water, fire, and shelter they'll require.
Survivalists will not be permitted to provide any of their tools to other competitors this season. This implies that players will not be allowed to form a winning alliance with another competitor.

This season, 14 survivalists will struggle to live in the huge Munzwa Valley of Africa, where they will have to hunt warthog, impala, and kudu in competition with lions, leopards, and hyenas.
