When will ‘Walker’ Episode 3 air? 'Bobble Head' will see Texas Ranger’s old friend show up, Ramirez suspicious

The CW’s reboot of the iconic ‘Walker, Texas Ranger’, starring Jared Padalecki as the eponymous lead follows the life of the widower as he tries to make sense of the mysterious murder of his wife. Back home from an undercover mission after a long time, Walker struggled to enter the real world, especially with his rebellious teenage daughter Stella (Violet Brinson), who felt he had abandoned his children.
But he also had support. Especially from his parents, his son August (Kale Culley), and his new partner, Micki Ramirez (Lindsey Morgan), one of the first women in Texas Rangers’ history. Despite a rough start, Walker finds much-needed support from her, as well as some balance -- while he’s a hothead, she remains calm under stress.
Episode 2 of the show, titled ‘Back in the Saddle’, saw Walker continue to try to reconnect with his family. But he found that his kids had developed new routines with Liam (Keegan Allen), Walker’s ADA brother who stepped in during his absence.
The episode also saw Walker continue to obsess with the death of his wife Emily (guest star Genevieve Padalecki). Even though the murderer was caught, Walker could not help but wonder if he was missing something, after all, the circumstances of her death remained mysterious at best, and to the Texas Ranger, highly suspicious. But his obsession kept getting in the way of both his life and his work. To the point where his former colleague, Larry James (Coby Bell), and now his Ranger Captain had to tell him to stop.
Walker’s only refuge then became the local barkeep Geri (Odette Annable). In episode 1, we saw that despite how things stood, there was definite chemistry between the two -- the two seemed pretty cozy as they danced at the bar.
So, what can one expect from episode 3 of ‘Walker’?
As per IMDb, the episode is titled ‘Bobble Head’. As per the synopsis, Walker's life will get more complicated when his childhood best friend, Hoyt Rawlins (guest star Matt Barr), returns to town. While Walker’s mother Abeline (Molly Hagan) will be thrilled about this, Geri will have conflicted feelings. Why? What does Geri know? It has already been established that Geri was not able to answer questions about Emily’s death to Walker’s satisfaction.
At the same time, Ramirez will have suspicions about the real reason Rawlins returned to town. Ramirez is sharp as a tack. And her suspicions would have some genuine basis. Rawlins’ character, who has remained unmentioned so far, is definitely going to be an intriguing introduction.
When will ‘Walker’ Episode 2 air?
Season 1 of ‘Walker’ premiered on January 21 on The CW. New episodes of ‘Walker’ will air on the network every Thursday. Every episode of the show will be available to stream on The CW app and CWTV.com the day after broadcast for free and without a subscription. Episode 3 of ‘Walker’, titled ‘Bobble Head’, written by Seamus Kevin Fahey and directed by Randy Zisk, will air on February 4, at 8 pm Eastern Time and 7 pm Central Time, only on The CW.
