Coronavirus: 'When the Weather is Fine' Episodes 5, 6 delayed after Park Min-young attends Milan Fashion Week
The Park Min-young and Seo Kang-joon starrer 'When the Weather is Fine' also referred to as 'I'll Go to You When the Weather is Fine' will not air on March 9 and 10. The show which portrays the story of two people reconnecting after years will take a week's break and the news comes after production of the show was stalled post actor Min-young's visit to Italy for Milan Fashion Week.
According to a report in Soompi, producers said regarding the break, "We are adjusting the filming schedule to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and create a safe environment. Episode 5, which was originally scheduled to air on March 9, will air on March 16, Monday."
After two staff members of South Korean celebrity Chungha tested positive for COVID-19 after visiting Italy for Milan Fashion Week, fans of actor Min-young were also worried. She also visited Milan Fashion Week, but representatives of her agency, Namoo Actors, said, "Park Min Young did not have any flights, hotels, routes, or staff overlapping with the confirmed cases.”
The show that airs on JTBC is about Mok Hae-won, a cello teacher from Seoul who returns to her hometown after dealing with tough situations in Seoul and Im Eun-seop, her classmate from high school who settled back in the town. He now owns a bookstore that is located right next door to Hae-won's house and the two reconnect over literature among other things. Since the show premiered just a couple of weeks ago, not much has been revealed about Eun-seop. For instance, he has this interesting connection with the mountains that are in his town. He seems to know paths and routes that even the rescue operators in the town are not aware of.
He also seems to be searching for someone who possibly lived in the now-abandoned cabin in the mountain that is right behind the bookstore. How Hae-won and Eun-seop's relationship progresses is something that we will see in the upcoming episodes.
New episodes of 'When the Weather is Fine' will air on Mondays and Tuesdays on JTBC.
