Reportedly, 'The Voice' Season 28 finale will feature celebrity guest performers, including Journey founder Neal Schon and band members, along with Season 26 winner Sofronio Vasquez, as per Talent Recap. The live finale will feature performances by K-pop group XG singing 'Gala,' along with Zac Brown and Noah Cyrus, Riley Green, and Khalid

While 'The Voice' finalists will be joined by superstar performers in the live finale, a production insider revealed that most Tuesday, December 16 performances are actually pre-taped, allowing artists to record multiple takes without performing in front of the coaches. The insider said that "the performances will be completely pre-taped. They will be able to do multiple takes if the artist isn't happy or there's a technical error," adding that many performances won't even take place in front of the celebrity coaches, as per The Sun

The insider further revealed that "not only that, but none of the coaches will be present for the guest performances," explaining, "The shots of the coaches from the live finale will be spliced into the performances from the celebrity performers. But the coaches are not present for the performances themselves. In fact, they're filming those on completely different days or weeks." Country singer Green taped his performance at Universal Studios on Tuesday, December 11, while Grammy nominee Khalid and Japanese girl group XG filmed theirs on Sunday, December 14.

The two-part 'The Voice' Season 28 finale airs Monday, December 15 and 16, with part one featuring the six finalists performing for a chance to win the title. Part two of 'The Voice' Season 28 finale on Tuesday, December 16, will feature celebrity performances and coach–contestant collaborations, ending with host Carson Daly revealing the season's winner.

The finalists representing their coaches are Jazz McKenzie for Team Bublé, Aubrey Nicole for Team Reba, Aiden Ross for Team Niall, and Ralph Edwards for Team Snoop. The two artists voted into the Top 6 by the audience were Max Chambers from Team Bublé and DEK of Hearts from Team Niall.
