Jamie Campbell Bower may have just teased secret ‘Stranger Things’ Season 5 episode on ‘The Tonight Show’
The 'Stranger Things' fans indeed hate Vecna and the demogorgans. However, there is one thing that they loathe more than those two: unresolved endings. Unfortunately, the season finale did just that. Even though the eighth episode of the season gave characters a happy ending, plenty of fans think that there is more to come. Furthermore, some fans are convinced that the show might have a "Snyder Cut," and now a playful line from Jamie Campbell Bower (Vecna) on 'The Tonight Show' has fueled the hopes of superfans, who are convinced that there will be an episode nine.
During his appearance on 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,' Bower delivered some dialogue in his usual chilling, serious tone. But it wasn't just the way he spoke that got the fans in a frenzy; it was what he said. "You are the light," the 37-year-old said. He continued, "Tomorrow it behings." Furthermore, at one point in the show, Bower taught Fallon how to wear the gloves and "suck brains" to control minds. The duo counted down from three together before dramatically screaming, "Eleven lives!" which elicited shrieks from the audience in the studio and numerous reactions from fans online about Eleven's character. Played by Millie Bobbie Brown, Eleven exited the show as mysteriously as she arrived in Hawkins. Spoiler Alert: In the season finale, the teen sacrificed herself to break the dangerous cycle of military scientists who used supernatural children.
Even after Randy Havens, who plays Mr. Clarke, addressed the rumors about the possibility of an episode 9, "There is no Snyder cut of the show, please don’t believe everything some random a tells you on the internet," Bower's statements about Eleven say something else. The fans have generated numerous theories after being unhappy with the way the show concluded. No, we're not just saying it; there is a petition asking to see the unseen footage that has received over 3,90,000 signatures. "We want the unseen footage of stranger things. I believe it was more to the episodes and we didn’t see them either due to Netflix or the team of stranger things cutting them. This has been a long 10 years process and this is what we get," an excerpt from the petition read. But wait, there is more. Plenty of fans have also pointed out the "Conformity Gate" theory.

Among the theories, one discussed the Number 7 being visible quite frequently in Season 5, linking it to Vecna's curse, which takes seven days for full effect. Furthermore, the finale, which premiered on New Year’s Eve, could have an additional episode released on January 7, revealing Vecna's control over the characters. Furthermore, we also saw all the students sitting in a Henry Creel pose, with their hands on their laps, as if they were under Vecna's control. Only time will tell if we will be treated to a new episode of 'Stranger Things.' However, one thing is confirmed: the show will release a special behind-the-scenes episode titled 'Stranger Things: One Last Adventure' on January 12.
