What is 'Sweet Magnolias' Season 3 about? Plot of the romance show explained
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The three ladies Maddie Townsend, Dana Sue Sullivan and Helen Decatur are ready to "pour it out" yet again as the third season of 'Sweet Magnolias' remains just around the corner. After many delays and uncertainties, the romance series will make a return with an all-new season in July.
'Sweet Magnolias' is based on the series written by the author Sherryl Woods, who is also participating in the show as a writer alongside Sheryl J Anderson. The two women are also the executive producers for the series along with Dan Paulson.
What is the plot of 'Sweet Magnolias' Season 3?
The new season will develop the existing romantic relationships of the series and deal with the complicated endings of the previous season. According to Netflix's description, the season will follow what happened after Cal got into a brawl at Sullivan's restaurant. The three women face different dilemmas in their romantic relationships, with Maddie trying to make sense of her emotions while Helen has to choose between two men and Dana Sue is learning to forgive to help herself.
"Throughout the season, the ladies tackle these problems -- and all the complications they cause -- with their trademark warmth, humor, and devotion to each other and those they love. And margaritas," reads the official description. We are in for an emotional rollercoaster ride with more progress in the lives of the characters that we have come to love and care for.
