FLORIDA KEYS, FLORIDA: '90 Day: The Last Resort' star Jovi Dufren currently works as an ROV supervisor at an oil and gas company.

The reality star has to travel to different places, however, he revealed that he turned down a job offer near his house.

In the latest episode of the TLC spinoff show, Jovi made a shocking revelation that brought tears to Yara Zaya's eyes and made her think twice about her relationship.

During a family therapy session, Jovi revealed that he was getting an opportunity to work 'closer' to his home.

Jovi had received a job offer for a desk job closer to his home, a very different set-up from the current role that had him traveling for months at a time. But Jovi decided not to opt for it and didn’t discuss it with his partner Yara.

However, it was clear that Yara didn't take this news well. She gasped and accused Jovi of being 'selfish' because he knew that his family needed him.

Jovi knew that turning down this exclusive job offer would surely create issues in his marriage.

Jovi Dufren chose to share his secret with his mother

Jovi Dufren's mother, Gwyn, was also present during the family therapy session and she was the one who forced Jovi to come clean to Yara Zaya. In the latest episode,

Yara was forced to admit to taking birth control secret to her mother-in-law. Gwyn called the deception "a horrible thing to hide from your husband," and urged the couple, "You guys need to communicate. You can’t just get on birth control and not tell him. That’s so wrong."

However, the mother didn’t entirely side with Jovi, though, she also asked her son to 'come clean' about his own secret. Yara left disheartened after she got to know that Jovi had already told his mother about the job offer.

Jovi later admitted that he believed that it was something he could talk about to his mother but not his wife. Jovi even did not consider to discuss about the job offer with his partner Yara.

Yara Zaya has been raising her daughter alone

Jovi Dufren's current job required him to travel for months which forced Yara Zaya to take care of their daughter Mylah alone. Yara had already made it clear that she didn’t want to stay alone.

It is evident that Yara has to manage her career and her daughter Mylah all alone for months and this was another reason why Yara wasn't prepared to have another child.

On the other hand, Jovi wanted to have a second baby and didn't even want to stay close to his family.

Yara felt betrayed and abandoned, given she had been raising their daughter alone. She admitted during the confession, "It’s kind of selfish, because you know we want you home."

She added, "This is a problem since we got married, and he tried to keep it a secret, which is pissing me off." However, Yara also confessed that she would never force Jovi to take a job he wasn't happy with.

She further noted that she might have been more willing to give him a second child if he were around more consistently to partner with her as a parent.
