If you love all things home makeover-related, 'Home Town Takeover' should definitely be on your watch list. With host Ben and Erin Napier renovating 12 properties in Wetumpka, Alabama, the two are out to give the city a much-needed update.

Taking on a few homes in a city is one thing, but to makeover the entire place is a totally different ball game! Luckily, the perks of being an HGTV host is that your friends are renovation and design experts. This week, the Napiers are calling in the expertise of one such expert -- Wendell Holland of 'Hot Mess House'.

Who is Wendell Holland?

Holland grew up in Ardmore, Pennsylvania. He went on to study law at the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where he graduated phi beta kappa. However, he was yet to discover his passion. It wouldn't be long until he built his first bed, for himself, while he was a law clerk. Seeing that his handiwork earned the praise of friends and family, he made some more and sold them online. With a demand now created for his work, he started his furniture company, Beve Unlimited. Soon, HGTV noticed his natural talent. And seeing that he has 'Fix My Fail' and 'Hot Mess House' under his (tool) belt, guess we can now add 'Home Town Takeover' to this growing list!

What is Wendell Holland's net worth?

Between running Beve Unlimited and being a TV personality, Holland is doing rather well for himself, seeing that his net worth is estimated to be $1 million, according to The Famous Data.

He's no stranger to the silver screen

Apart from having studied law, being a TV personality and a furniture designer, Holland has another feather to add to his hat -- he's the winner of 'Survivor: Ghost Island' Season 36. As per his website, he'd been a 'super fan' since season 18, and being an athlete with a competitive personality, he began applying to be on show while he was a law clerk and continued doing so. He eventually made it on to the show in 2018. He was also a part of the show's all-star 40th season, 'Survivor: Winners at War.'

You can now catch Holland as he gears up to help the Napiers renovate a local barbershop, in his own classic style, which involves reclaimed wood. As per the show's synopsis -- "Ben and Erin Napier take Home Town on the road in the new HGTV series, 'Home Town Takeover'. In this ambitious and innovative renovation series, Erin and Ben lead a team of renovation pros as they takeover and makeover an entire small town — Wetaumpka, Alabama."

You can watch 'Home Town Takeover' on HGTV on Sundays at 8 pm ET/PT and stream the same on discovery+.
