Jennifer Lopez Confesses To Brett Goldstein, Says 'Nomadland' Is The Worst Movie She's Ever Seen
Jennifer Lopez has categorized the triple-Oscar-winning drama on grief and resilience, 'Nomadland', as her absolute "worst type of film," citing its slow pace and distinct lack of 'escapism'.
During an appearance on her 'Office Romance' co-star Brett Goldstein’s 'Films to Be Buried With' podcast to promote their new Netflix rom-com, the actress-musician answered a prompt regarding the worst movie she has ever seen.
While Lopez clarified that Chloé Zhao's film is technically beautiful and praised Frances McDormand’s lead performance as fully deserving of its Academy Awards, she admitted she simply did not enjoy the experience, adding that her personal taste leans toward crowd-pleasing genres like musicals and thrillers.
The Chloé Zhao-directed indie drama dominated the 2021 Academy Awards, taking home Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Actress. Lopez's new movie 'Office Romance' officially launched on Netflix on June 6.
