The duo who played the iconic couple Carol Hathaway and Doug Ross on ER (1994–2009) have remained close friends, with Margulies crediting Clooney for launching her career and often coming out in support for his new ventures. Clooney attended the event with wife Amal in New York City on April 27, 2026.
