'Avengers: Doomsday' is upon us, and as Robert Downey Jr. walked up the stage at CinemaCon 2026 in his Dr. Doom colors, he was interrupted by none other than Chris Evans, who is confirmed to be returning as Steve Rogers for the December 2026 movie. While those at the venue were treated to exclusive trailer footage from the upcoming film, they also witnessed Downey and Evans face off one another and sprawl into an on-stage exchange, in what fans will call back to the 2016 MCU era, with Captain America: Civil War drawing the front lines.
