W. Kamau Bell lets his sweatshirt do the political talking at the Tribeca Festival's 'Taxi Driver' screening

Emmy-winning television host and comedian W. Kamau Bell turned heads as he posed on the red carpet at the Tribeca Festival during the 'Taxi Driver' screening. He wore a dark green sweatshirt that boldly read, "34 FELONIES ARE NOT PRESIDENTIAL", a clear political statement referring to Donald Trump's criminal convictions. Bell playfully pulled at the fabric of his shirt to make sure the text was completely visible for the cameras. Beyond the red carpet appearance, Bell was at the festival for a major programming event. He served as the moderator for a highly anticipated retrospective screening of Martin Scorsese’s 1976 masterpiece, 'Taxi Driver', at the BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center. Before the film played, Bell led an exclusive onstage conversation with director Martin Scorsese, screenwriter Paul Schrader, and stars Robert De Niro and Jodie Foster.
