Chris Anne Affleck, Mother of Ben and Casey Affleck, Passes Away at 83

Ben and Casey Affleck's mother, Chris Anne Affleck, has passed away at the age of eighty-three after battling pancreatic cancer. Ben Affleck has often credited his mother as one of his biggest inspirations. According to her obituary, she was a lifelong civil rights activist and is described as having been one of the original Freedom Riders who traveled through the American South during the civil rights movement in the 1960 .
